Notes on the Artist:
– Born in Sibiu (Romania) in 1953
– Graduated from the “Andreescu” Fine Arts Institute of Cluj-Napoca (Romania) in 1976
– Full time Teacher of Fine Arts at No 12 & 13 Schools(Sibiu-Romania) and at the “Waldorf” Lyceum (Sibiu –Romania)
– Full Member of the Romanian Association of Professional Artists (Uniunea Artiştilor Plastici din Romania) since 1994.
– Has had personal exhibitions in Romania and abroad. These were organised by the Romanian Association of Professional Artists and are listed below:

– Her work has received a number of prizes and distinctions: 1996 (Germany), 1998 (France), 2000 (Switzerland).
– For her artistic and cultural activities the artist has been nominated for the “Woman of the year, USA” award, 2006.
– Her work has attracted the attention of film producers and book and newspaper editors who have sought her collaboration in the production of various art and cultural programmes and, also to provide illustrations for books and calendars:
1996 designed calendars for the “Trade” publishers (Cluj-Napoca, Romania) 1997 provided illustrations for the volume of poetry, Italy – “Lianele Privirii” published by “Imago” publishers.
1996/1997 submitted illustrations and articles on fine art to “Softanum” publication (Arad, Romania)
1998 provided illustrations for the Cultural Department of the prestigious “Astra” Library (Sibiu, Romania)
1998/1999/2001 designed calendars and guides for the “Honderus” publishers
2000/2006 provided illustrations for the “Millenium” publication (Craiova, Romania), also submitted paintings to the Lourmont Romanian – French Cultural League, France.
2004/2004 prepared calendars for Germany (Nuremberg) and illustrations for Italy (Bolognia and Rome).
– 1976 she actively collaborated with Romanian TVR1 in the production of the series of programmes entitled “The Spiritual Life”- a cycle of 5 films concerning the Sibiel (Romania) Museum of Icons Painted on Glass.
