Galeria Posibilă va invită joi, 9 mai, ora 18:00, la vernisajul expozitiei de fotografie
“Înapoi la izvoare”, fotografii de Lucian Bran.

Natura aparent ignorată în nesfârșitele repetiții ale pelerinajului oamenilor în căutarea apei, ea este în fapt cea care ignoră, care trece cu vederea, iar asta se simte, căci natura domină imaginea. Fotografiile lui Lucian nu sunt o elegie naturalistă, cum nu sunt un documentar, totuși îndrăznesc să cred că atât Ruskin cât și soții Becher ar înțelege cum se cuvine acest “înapoi la izvoare”.

Galeria Posibilă invites you on Thursday, May 9, at 6 p.m. to the opening of the photography exhibition “Back to Wellhead”, photography signed by Lucian Bran.

The Nature – seemingly being ignored within the people’s pilgrimage for getting the pure water -, she is in fact the one that ignores, that passes over. And that is obvious since the nature is beyond the image. Still, Lucian’s photos are not a naturalistic elegy, as they are not documentary images. Yet, I believe that both Ruskin and The Bechers’ would perfectly understand the “back to wellhead” statement.
